LMFT License #97008

Hi. I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist and it is a privilege to have the opportunity to provide psychotherapy to adolescents, adults and families. I take a collaborative approach to empowering individuals facing a wide range of personal challenges by providing active listening and mindful attention. I am a genuine, encouraging person to meet with, and I use an eclectic approach by blending different interventions and theories to develop mutually agreed upon goals for each individual.

For the past four years, I have worked with Social Advocates for Youth (SAY) in Santa Rosa, as a School Based Mental Health Clinician providing individual and group psychotherapy to at-risk teens and their families within Santa Rosa City schools. I support and encourage at-risk youth to develop healthier, constructive coping strategies by helping them address the areas of their lives that are causing difficulties.

Prior to that, I worked with West County Community Services as a School Based Mental Health Clinician at Brook Haven School. Additionally, I supported youth and adults with physical, mental and cognitive disabilities to prepare for and obtain employment referred through the CA State Department of Rehabilitation.

I completed a one year internship at Family Service Agency of Sonoma County working with individuals, families, couples and co-leading a court mandated group for adults who have been arrested for domestic violence and other power and control issues.

Therapeutic Orientation:

My therapeutic approach includes a range of theories including: Humanistic, Psychodynamic, CBT, Family Systems, Narrative, Mindfulness and Trauma informed care.
